Privacy Policy

How AceCare collects, uses, and safeguards your personal and health information.

Last updated: March 1, 2026

1. Our commitment

AceCare Health Services is a HIPAA-covered entity. Protecting the confidentiality of your personal and protected health information (PHI) is central to how we operate. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, name, contact details, date of birth, insurance details, and health history needed to deliver care. During telehealth visits we collect clinical observations, diagnoses, and treatment plans documented by your clinician.

Our website uses minimal analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

3. How we use information

We use your information to deliver clinical care, coordinate with your other providers, bill insurance, comply with legal and accreditation requirements, and improve our services. Access is limited to staff with a legitimate need-to-know.

4. How we protect information

We use administrative, physical, and technical safeguards including encrypted electronic health records, secure messaging, role-based access controls, and staff training on privacy and security. Our telehealth platform uses end-to-end encrypted video.

5. When we share information

We share information only when necessary: with your other treating providers, with insurers for payment, with business associates under written agreement, or when required by law. We never share PHI for marketing without your explicit authorization.

6. Your rights

Under HIPAA you have the right to inspect and obtain a copy of your health records, request amendments, request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures, receive an accounting of disclosures, and file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

7. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses essential cookies to keep the site functional and privacy-friendly analytics to measure aggregate traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies if you prefer.

8. Children's privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13. When we provide care to minors, PHI is collected and shared only with parental or guardian consent as required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.

10. Contact our privacy officer
